Deciding on childcare for your precious bundle of joy is one of the most difficult choices a parent has to make - there are so many variables to consider be it financial, logistical - the list could go on. There's also the added concern of finding a childcare provider who fits in with your overall parenting style so you feel comfortable leaving your child in their care. I didn't know anything about childcare when I had my first baby and found the process really overwhelming.

Additionally, I've interviewed two local childcare providers - a childminder and a nursery manager - who have answered the same five questions to give you an idea of the service they provide.
